PBUCH SA carried out a complete reconstruction of ventilation and air-conditioning installations on the Stena Britannica vessels, in connection with adapting it to the requirements of the Owner and the line. The reconstruction of the ferry was caused by the increasing of the loading space and the number of cabins.

The scope of works on the vessel included the construction of a central cooling system, ventilation of tunnels at the cold store and in the area of ​​refrigeration compressors, modernization of the main ventilation system and assembly of the air conditioning system.

As part of the reconstruction, supplies of refrigeration units, refrigerant tanks, refrigeration automation and condensers were also carried out.

Shipbuilding activities included enlargement of the superstructure, as well as obtaining additional cabins and rooms intended for passengers.

In terms of the implementation of our company on that passenger-car ferry was modernization of the air-conditioning system with the supply of chiller with a cooling capacity of 300kW, installation of kitchen ventilation system, warehouses, corridors, modernization of the cooling system with the delivery of condensing units.

Installation works with the supply of equipment and components of HVAC systems were carried out on many Stena Line ferries, in addition to the above-mentioned, ie: "Stena Baltica", "Stena Scandinavica", "Stena Vision", "Stena Germanica", "Stena Gotica" , "Stena Spirit" and "Stena Perros".
