PBUCH performed on FSO Hanne Knutsen total scope of HVAC system rebuilding works.
This is project from offshore sector executed in Gdańsk Shiprepair Yard „Remontowa” S.A.consisting of conversion of shuttle tanker belonging to Norwegian Shipowner Knutsen OAS Shipping to FSO (Floating, Storage and Offloading Unit) type vessel – used for storage, preprocessing and expedition of oil collected from drilling platforms on Norwegian oil field Martin Linge. After conversion unit will be chartered by company Total.
Range of works
Our works included within its range replacing and upgrading ventilation assembly and air conditioning in every area of the vessel, including marine power plant, technical areas, electric switchgear area, cabins and wheelhouse.
Work on ship took 10 months.
Our duties included:
Disassembly of existing ducts, prefabrication and assembly of new Spiro- pipes system and ducts, isolation works, cleaning-up ventilation system, montage of the air conditioners, air handling units, electric switchgears, heaters and other elements of ventilation plant.
Design and delivery of condensate separator
On Martin Linge unit we also delivered condensate separator with capacity of 1,4 m3, equipped with magnetostriction level sensor.
Delivery also included within its range preparing of design documentation, strength calculations and approval documentation of DNV/GL Classification Body.
